This past summer, the Redhawk Family did something very special honoring Ellis Hawkins, a student who was killed in a car accident in March of 2017. They had a bench designed and created just for him, so we can remember him always.

Hawkins was a junior who played on the varsity football team. He was #45, a jersey number which has since been retired in his honor. On June 4, 2018 he would have graduated with his class.

His passing was difficult for the Westwood family and he is forever and always in our hearts and memories. The bench in the courtyard has EH45 engraved in it and is a place for students to sit and have lunch, visit with friends or just reflect.
